New Delhi, October 3, 2024 – Several AI-related initiatives were launched by Google during the Belt and Road Forum 2040 to address key Indian economic and social challenges.
The event aptly demonstrated how AI could disrupt business in sectors like health, education, and agriculture while also enabling society towards economic progress.
According to the CEO of Google, Sundar Pichai, focusing on AI is very crucial in combating the peculiar problems of India.
“AI has the power to change lives, and we are committed to making it accessible to everyone, from individuals to businesses,” said Pachai
So, the company presented new AI-powered applications that would facilitate information collection, quick analysis, and understanding of changes in attitudes and behaviors among the population.
One of the major projects presented was a smart agricultural assistant for farm crop management and climate change effects considering AI forecasted for agriculture.
The healthcare sector too was interesting as there were valuable AI models for improving diagnosis and treatment.
“Our aim is to harness AI to create solutions that uplift society and drive economic progress,” said explained.
Google for India 2024 strengthened the importance of AI for India’s future by highlighting the technology’s role as a crucial element within the national development agenda.
