October 3, 2024, Santa Clara, CA-NVIDIA has declared a new effort, which it has termed as “Green Revolution”, aimed at improving energy efficiency using AI and accelerated computing.
This latest innovation is likely to revolutionize the energy sector in several industries, including data centers, transportation, and manufacturing industries.
With the war against climate change and environmental degradation between industries and municipalities, the technology that NVIDIA has developed will eliminate the need for businesses to sacrifice performance for sustainability because performance will be maintained without any carbon emissions.
The technology utilizes machine learning (ML) algorithms and high-performance computing (HPC) selectively and provides shadow services that allow operations to be performed with a focus on energy efficiency.
Joshua Parker NVIDIA technology expert, impressed by the advancements brought about by these innovations, observed that,

Parker made these remarks in a recent episode of NVIDIA’s AI Podcast.
Corporations and private companies hope to save every penny, while energy costs in data centers are skyrocketing – the solution here lies in improving energy efficiency and extracting as much useful work from every watt of electricity.
It is projected that such systems will achieve better cooling, better use of the energy resources, and overall enhanced operation, including bringing down the energy use by as high as 30%.
“We are seeing a paradigm shift, millions of dollars are being changed in how industries change directions with AI at the forefront of the movement of sustainable practices,” Parker further noted.
The early success of NVIDIA’s initiative has already garnered attention from industry analysts, who believe it could mark a significant milestone in the global effort to combat climate change.
