Frankfurt, Germany – 18th October 2024 – According to a recent Information Services Group (ISG) report, German businesses are increasingly relying on AWS ecosystem providers to handle the growing amount of corporate data. The need for advanced data analytics and cloud solutions is the prime driver for the growth, according to the 2024 ISG Provider Lens AWS Ecosystem Partners report.
More German businesses are using the AWS Partner Network to leverage AWS cloud’s data processing capacity. This has led to an increase in AWS partners adopting AI automation to streamline complex data management initiatives.
According to the report, mid-sized organizations are a rapidly developing market, even if major enterprises are leading the way for AWS adoption in Germany. By adopting AI, AWS business partners are looking to tap into the increased demand for cloud-native solutions in the German market.
Moreover, AWS has emerged as a preferred platform, with the AWS Partner Network playing a critical role in facilitating this expansion. As more partnerships form, AWS partners also see follow-on business opportunities, such as managed services and guidance.
Yet, the report also notes that German businesses are more sceptical about deploying solutions to the public cloud. The RISE with SAP offering is enabling enterprises to move to the cloud, as AWS partners take advantage of extensions that even SAP does not provide.
Talking about the need for technology modernization in the German market, Alexandra Classen, an ISG partner, said,

As per ISG’s report, AWS can expand swiftly and adapt, positioning it at the forefront of cloud-native solutions in the German market by catering to the requirements of both major and small businesses. With enterprises accepting the cloud as the future, AWS partners in Germany will need to adopt AI to scale and succeed in meeting client demands for data modernization.
