Fujitsu and Linius Partner on AI-Powered Video Insights

October 29, 2024 — Kawasaki, Japan and Sydney, Australia: Fujitsu and Linius Technologies signed a partnership and launched AI-powered video analytics products which have the potential to change the way organizations look at stored videos and create plenty of operational insights from it.

The partnership combines Fujitsu’s AI tools with Linius’ patented “virtualized video” technology allowing companies to quickly sum up videos that improve their decision-making in many fields such as security, transport, retail, and public services.

“The business world concerned with the use of video is significantly improved by this partnership,”

Eric Beardsell – the Chief Executive Officer of Fujitsu Asia Pacific commented.

“We help organizations take advantage of video by combining Linius’ advanced platform with out AI technology.”

The Fujitsu-Linius combination also promises to deliver a lasting change to the way things work in practice by introducing means to alter video events and speed video image capture.

Such capability allows users to locate a variety of circumstances in the timelapse video and this has been proved fundamental for surveillance, investigating assets etc.

The technology further allows industries to help increase data efficiency and process accuracy while data remains safe and secure; vital to the improved safety of the public and accuracy of operations.
