During the RSA Conference 2024 in San Francisco, Adaptive Shield will showcase its AI capabilities and award-winning technology at booth #1455, Moscone South Expo. The event will take place from Monday, May 6, to Thursday, May 9, 2024.
The workforce has been rapidly adopting SaaS applications that use generative AI (GenAI) to boost efficiency. Existing SaaS apps like Salesforce Einstein, GitHub Copilot, and Microsoft 365 Copilot integrate AI apps like ChatGPT and Google Gimni, along with AI tools. According to a recent PWC report, over half (54%) of the companies surveyed have already implemented GenAI in some areas of their business.
While promising increased automation and productivity gains, GenAI also introduces new risks, including data leakage, an expanded attack surface, new areas of exploitation, and privacy concerns, among others, not to mention challenges around meeting compliance and government regulation requirements.
Organizations are cognizant of the fact that the GenAI revolution necessitates novel security approaches, according to Maor Bin, co-founder and CEO of Adaptive Shield. Some organizations are attempting to outlaw GenAI due to their ignorance of the associated dangers. But rather than preventing or outright prohibiting it, they should invest in security, as this technology will inevitably become ubiquitous in the near future.
A range of solutions under Adaptive Shield’s SSPM platform has been developed for Chief AI Officers and security teams responsible for managing control of GenAI tools in response to this need. The suite includes features such as:
- Security Posture for AI Apps: Gain insights into the security posture of any AI application within the SaaS stack; prioritize addressing configuration drifts with a security score for each application that pinpoints heightened risk levels.
- AI Configurations: To stop data from leaking or being exposed, you need to control the security settings of SaaS services that deal with AI. You also need to find out who has too much access to manage GenAI features.
- Discovery and Management of AI Shadow Apps: Identify and manage unauthorized GenAI applications, including suspected malicious apps; automatically revoke access based on their risk level.
- Management of 3rd Party Longtail AI-Sanctioned Apps: Oversight interconnected GenAI applications and associated risk levels; review permission scopes.
- Secure Homegrown Applications: Shield home-grown GenAI-driven apps by restricting access and configuring them securely.
- Data Management to Maintain Data Silos: Govern security controls to prevent data leakage as AI has the ability to access/correlate sensitive data from multiple sources in a more sophisticated way than traditional methods.
The industry-leading SSPM & ITDR platform from Adaptive Shield enables integrations with more than 150 out-of-the-box SaaS applications, including custom apps and industry-leading business applications, thereby providing enterprises with comprehensive GenAI coverage.
