TEXEL Launches Waste-to-AI System for U.S. Market, Installations in 2025

NEW YORK, NY – November 6, 2024-TEXEL Energy has unveiled a breakthrough system called the TEXEL GreenAI, a modular waste-to-AI energy system which converts waste heat from thermal energy sources like landfills or industrial sites into free energy for AI applications.

This installation is expected in the United States by the year 2025. The system’s installation is also timely in view of AI’s energy consumption which is projected to reach Japan’s today levels by the year 2026, according to a report by the International Energy Agency.

The GreenAI component of the system concept promotes “True Green AI” that is capable of providing an uninterrupted power supply without the generation of greenhouse gases.

“It is a patented technology owned by TEXEL GreenAI that stands capable of transforming waste heat into clean energy and AI processing power in the most effective way possible. This is critical for the increasing AI demand in a most eco-friendly and secure manner,”

Commented Lars Jacobsson, TEXEL CEO, and an EU Energy Commission advisor.

Considering that more than 60% of global energy is wasted, TEXEL’s technology maximizes the unused portion – widening the potential to serve the AI demand from across the globe.

This technology is a game changer in moving towards sustainable AI infrastructure, providing a constant power supply which is vital in AI operations that require close to around-the-clock running time for the system.

With the help of the TEXEL GreenAI technology, the company distinguishes itself as a pioneer in green AI solutions, indicating a necessary step towards the utilization of renewable energy sources in the tech industry.

“There is enough waste heat in the world to cover all AI requirements. TEXEL is a leader in this very important energy transition,”

Wondered Jacobsson.

As Texas emerges from rural dominance, the firm seems to ponder how “green” AI systems are in relation to each other today, complimenting the waste-to-energy systems” potential to revolutionize the AI domain and environmental projects.
