Blink's Sync Module XR Extends Camera Range, Enhancing AI-Powered Home Security

Boston – November 8, 2024 – Blink unveiled a revolutionary new product focused on increasing the range of their existing Blink Outdoor 4 camera system called the Blink Sync Module XR.

With the new sync module, Blink is able to significantly boost home security coverage to four times the amount of other standard models on the market. Furthermore, the more sophisticated system employs AI-based monitoring to ensure better and wider surveillance of the premises.

The latest Blink Sync Module XR improves Blink IntelliCam, offering coverage of up to 400 feet in XR+ mode and facilitating AI-based monitoring of the entire property.

In this case, the XR Sync Module allows users to use cameras that are placed more distant from the house but still in a location where consistent strong signals can be relied upon.

“We’re always looking for ways we can simplify the process for our clients so that they can create a complete home security system,”

Said Blink Head of Product Jonathan Cohn.

“With the new form of Blink Sync Module XR, one of the outdoor cameras’ biggest disappointments – short efficient range for Wi-Fi devices – is overcome; the short distance does restrict where customers can use the camera but now we address that.”

As opposed to Wi-Fi-based security systems, now, users do not need to worry about being tethered to a physically restricted area, Blink Sync Module XR employs a built-in long-range radio signal that transmits through walls and other environmental features.

This AI-powered, advanced connectivity allows blink outdoor cameras to be able to monitor areas designed for a more remote application such as sheds, gates, driveways and any other area that would be monitored away from the main house WifI signal.

Moreover, the Sync Module XR functions as a hub to the system where users can operate their cameras with ease from the Blink application. Up to 10 cameras can be links to the device meaning management and control are at a single point.

If one is interested in local storage, the Sync Module XR comes with a MicroSD slot hence video clips may be stored without regards to a subscription.

Currently going for $59.99 in U.S and Canada, the Sync Module XR comes with an added offer; Free Blink Outdoor 4 with purchase for a limited time. Clients have now the chance to take advantage of the power of surveillance with the extended range and Artificial Intelligence assistance for improved security and better coverage of the property.
