November 15, 2024; Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam- One of Vietnam’s largest corporations FPT in collaboration with Ericsson, one of the largest providers of ICT solutions, aims to develop 5G, AI, and digitalization of businesses further.
This agreement was signed during FPT Techday 2024, which was an important event in the journey of shaping Vietnam’s digital space.
This cooperation will seek to create some of the most sophisticated applications in 5G healthcare, manufacturing, and retail sectors where AI benefits from 5G in terms of speed and scalability.

There are proposals to provide remote healthcare services, deploy AI in industrial 5.0 manufacturing, and introduce immersive retail experiences using AR and related technologies. Therefore, Vietnam will be the first market to test many of these features.

Ericsson’s initiative to assist Vietnam’s telecommunications sector complements FPT’s strategic direction of expanding on AI-centric solutions that are applicable across enterprises and end-users all over the world.
This particular collaboration emphasizes the shared ideologies of the two firms in terms of strengthening the digital ecosystem as a whole and positioning Vietnam as a pole of advanced 5G and AI technologies.
