Dec 11, 2024, Amsterdam – At Workday Rising EMEA, Workday, Inc. revealed the new advanced Illuminate features in Workday Peakon Employee Voice, which uses AI to generate employee insights and empowers managers to increase engagement and retention.
These benefit important workplace issues, such as employee burnout and high turnover rates for certain jobs as they provide better insights and action for decision making. Key innovations include Generative AI-Powered Content Summaries that identify emerging workforce themes from feedback in over 60 languages, On-Demand Comment Summaries for targeted department or location-specific insights, and Rules-Based Questions in Moments That Matter, which tailor survey questions to pivotal moments like onboarding and exit processes.
“In the current business landscape, attracting, retaining, and engaging top talent is more critical than ever,” said Anne-Sofie Nielsen, Vice President of Product and Engineering, at Workday. “Workday Peakon Employee Voice with these new Illuminate capabilities give organizations – and specifically people managers – the insights and tools they need to foster exceptional employee experiences, build a thriving workforce, and achieve greater organizational success.”
The Illuminate functionality that Workday offers is premised on a dataset that takes nearly 1 billion employee responses and aggregates more than 200 million written feedback pieces from over 160 countries. The findings from this dataset reveal that an alarming 27% of an organization’s employees are at a high risk of burnout, hence the need to address employee well-being urgently.
“Workday Peakon Employee Voice is a key part of our people strategy, enabling us to directly address the continuous challenges we face in the evolving world of work,” said Andrew Stephenson, chief people officer, EQ.
“By understanding the views of our people and being able to take ideas and suggestions from them frequently, we are able to take timely actions to create a truly empowered, engaged workforce around the globe.”
By the first half of 2025, these AI-enabled tools will be made exclusively available to Workday Peakon Employee Voice clients, ready for a radical transformation in understanding and acting upon employee sentiment.
