CES 2025: Samsung Redefines Smart Homes with AI-Powered Innovations

Samsung Electronics staged a momentous debut of the anticipated Home AI at CES 2025, taking a revolutionary turn in the smart home segment. The exhibition showcased AI-powered appliances that have been designed to seamlessly integrate into daily life, offering hyper-personalized features that offer convenience, efficiency, and security.

During the show, Samsung offered a peek into its future. It showed the Bespoke 4-Door Refrigerator with AI Family Hub™ that can be personally scheduled by Bixby, which is Samsung’s immersive voice assistant. Each house member would receive a scheduled list, perfectly matched with their accounts, as Bixby identifies each voice and then differentiates between them. Accessibility features are enhanced still further by extending settings across devices such as large text mode to automatically transfer across devices.

The presentation of Bixby’s advanced AI at the event demonstrated just how simple future cooking is going to be. At the push of a button is all it takes to instruct your kitchen to help you with your cooking chores. The AI Family Hub™ identifies ingredients that are nearing expiration, recommends recipes based on that, and sends cooking instructions to the Bespoke Slide-in Range for automated preheating. These innovations simplify cooking and meal preparation, turning traditionally time-consuming tasks into intuitive processes that are easily accomplished.

Samsung has even gone further in revolutionizing home management with AI technology. With the use of mobile GPS and appliance sensors, Home AI can detect when users are not at home and initiate maintenance tasks, like drum cleaning by the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo™ and floor cleaning by Samsung’s Bespoke Jet Bot Combo™. SmartThings monitors progress closely and sends the user notifications, ensuring healthy, refreshed homes before the user returns.

One strong point of Samsung’s Home AI is its advanced security. The Bespoke Jet Bot Combo™ AI includes integrated cameras and sensors that track movements, acting as a mobile surveillance system and sending alerts in real-time to the user. If needed, AI appliances can notify linked security services to address any potential intrusions.

Underpinning these innovations is Samsung Knox, a robust security solution that keeps personal data safe and protects it against cyber threats. All compromised devices are immediately disconnected from the network under the Knox Matrix to maintain the sanctity of the interconnected ecosystem.

Samsung’s Home AI, presented at CES 2025, will provide a look into the inevitable future where smart homes are truly personalized, proactive, and secure, setting a new standard for advancement and innovation in home living.
