
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced a strategic partnership with Salesforce to boost artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities in the manufacturing and semiconductor sectors.
The partnership plans to streamline data management and improve AI adoption. This approach includes addressing challenges posed by fragmented and unstructured data.
TCS Rolls Out 3 Solutions To Boost Sales
As part of the initiative, TCS has launched 3 key solutions to boost sales and service efficiency in these industries. The Semiconductor Sales Accelerator uses data-based insights to enhance sales performance. The Seller for the Future program integrates real-time updates, predictive analytics, and personalized recommendations to refine sales strategies.
Additionally, the Digital Field Service solution provides field technicians with real-time data, predictive maintenance tools, and optimized scheduling to improve service efficiency.
By merging AI and cloud computing domains, TCS and Salesforce are planning to transform how manufacturers and semiconductor firms manage sales and service operations.
Prashant Shirgur, TCS’s global head of enterprise solutions, highlighted the importance of accurate, real-time data in the semiconductor industry. He stated that TCS is committed to equipping businesses with the insights needed for sustainable growth.
TCS Crystallus, built on the Salesforce platform, is designed to empower sales teams with tools to engage customers confidently, shorten sales cycles, and drive revenue growth. Meanwhile, in its Q3, FY25 earnings call, TCS reported a growing focus among its clients on generative AI, agentic AI, and data foundation building, which shows strong industry momentum toward AI adoption.
TCS has introduced the TCS 5A Framework for Responsible AI in partnership with AWS, which makes an industry-first approach to address AI risks.
