New York and Las Vegas – The 25th annual Technology Vision report from Accenture describes AI-sponsored autonomy and how it reshapes all enterprises in terms of technology, customer experience, and workforce dynamics. The change that accompanies Artificial Intelligence has 69% of executives emphasizing the entire process of redesigning systems and processes to cope with the rapid transformation.
“Our 25th Technology Vision gives leaders a look into what’s ahead when AI continuously learns, acts autonomously with and on behalf of people, and pushes enterprises and the people who use it into new and exciting ways to continuously reinvent,” said Julie Sweet, chair and CEO, Accenture.
“But unlocking the benefits of AI will only be possible if leaders seize the opportunity to inject and develop trust in its performance and outcomes in a systematic manner so businesses and people can unlock AI’s incredible possibilities.”
The study unveils opportunities for AI to personalize customer experiences, enhance software development, and integrate robotics into the physical world. For instance, Accenture’s GenWizard and AI Refinery platforms are streamlining the multi-agent systems for optimizing workflows. Likewise, the collaboration between NVIDIA and KION Group is working towards warehouse robotics, fostering human-robot interaction.
“Advancements in digitizing knowledge, new AI models, agentic AI systems and architecture enables enterprises to create their own unique cognitive digital brains.” said Karthik Narain, group chief executive – Technology and CTO, Accenture.
“The autonomy created by these generalized AI systems can help organizations be more dynamic and intention-driven than ever. It will allow leaders to rethink how digital systems are designed, how people work, and reinvent how they create products and interact with customers.”
Trust will continue to play a major part, with 77% of executives attesting to it being the very core for getting all benefits from AI. The research appreciates the role played by people and AI in a virtuous learning cycle in enhancing AI’s exemplary value and adoption while upholding the ethics associated with it.
Accenture’s findings underscore AI’s transformative potential, positioning businesses to leverage its capabilities responsibly and innovatively in the coming decade.
