New York, 19 Nov. 2024 –In response to the growing number of phishing and deepfake scams, Accenture has launched advanced practices in cybersecurity using generative AI technology.
This announcement comes after a 223% growth in the online trade of deepfake tools on dark net forums for Q1 2024, thus underscoring the need for strong AI-based shields.
The new offerings include AI Secure Solutions that operate practically through the entire lifecycle of AI systems and Deepfake Protection from manmade malicious content.
In addition, Quantum Security and Business Cyber Crisis Recovery services also complement Accenture’s role in the fight against cyber terrorism.
“With the help of generative AI, cyber security in the majority databases is automated, allowing for the detection of advanced threats on time and even preventing them.”
Paolo Dal Cin, Global Lead for Accenture Security also took the opportunity to highlight the importance of AI in today’s context saying: It is no longer optional to disregard AI and use conventional techniques in the context of external threats – today everything is accumulated into systemic pictures.
This was also brought to attention by Accenture on new future centers for cyber security that will be located in Brussels and Washington D.C. and focus on quantum security and AI advancement.
