New York, 10th October 2024 – The latest breakdown conducted by Accenture reveals businesses that undertake AI-driven processes have revenue growth that is 2.5 times more than their counterparts.
The report was conducted on 2000 executives from across 12 countries and established that 74% of organizations that proportionally computed the anticipated benefits of generative AI and automation were met or exceeded.
The percentage of organizations actively operating and leveraging the fully rebuilt and implemented AI processors effectively increased by 7% from 9% in 2023 to 16% in 2024.
Such organizations claimed 2.4 times productivity change and 3.3 more success in the multiplication of AI use cases across key functions such as IT, marketing, and customer service.
Still, some factors are still bothering them.
“Generative AI is more than technology; it’s a driver of mindset change,”
Said Arundhati Chakraborty, Group Chief Executive of Accenture Operations.
“Most executives understand the urgency, but many organizations aren’t ready to support large-scale transformation.”
Almost six percent of companies claimed that their data assets are not ready for generative AI, and about seventy percent face difficulties in addressing the scaling of AI projects owing to proprietary data issues.
In addition, readiness of the workforce also poses a problem wherein 82 percent of the companies fail to implement the talent reinvention frameworks that would equip employees to work in an AI-centric environment.
Accenture’s research underlines that while many companies are advancing rapidly, a large number still struggle to adapt to the speed of AI innovation.
