Mumbai, India – The latest AI PC series, Galaxy Book5, has launched in India by Samsung. The range comprises Galaxy Book5 Pro, Galaxy Book5 Pro 360, and Galaxy Book5 360, which integrates Galaxy AI features with the Microsoft Copilot+ PC experience.
The AI capabilities have been launched in this Galaxy Book5 series for the first time and are powered by the Intel® Core™ Ultra Series 2 processors with robust NPUs (neural processing units) that deliver up to 47 TOPS (Tera operations per second), which improves performance, offering a boost of 17% in GPU performance and 16% better performance in CPU single-core processing efficiency. The lineup-enhanced NPU supports Galaxy Artificial Intelligence features such as instant search through one-click information extraction, and Photo Remaster, which sharpens and enhances AI clarity of images.
The Galaxy Book5 series carries a better computing experience that combines powerful hardware with AI-enabled features for easy workflow. The 25 hours of battery life is now combined with fast charging, achieving a 41% battery charge in only 30 minutes for the Galaxy Book5 Pro. Microsoft Copilot+ significantly augments the intelligent multitasking capability by providing AI-powered assistance for writing, research, and scheduling tasks via dedicated key access.
The Dynamic AMOLED 2X display on the Galaxy Book5 Pro models with 3K resolution will also have a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and Vision Booster technology, and the impressive immersive experience is combined with audio through Quad Speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
This new series will be priced starting from INR 114,990, which is INR 15,000 cheaper than its predecessor. Pre-booking for any of these Galaxy series will also let users enjoy the benefit of buying Galaxy Buds3 Pro at INR 2,999 instead of the original INR 19,999.
Availability for pre-booking begins on the Samsung website, Samsung India Smart Cafés, and preferred retail stores. The Galaxy Book5 series will be available in India starting March 20, 2025.
