PwC and Microsoft Team Up to Accelerate AI Adoption in Business

London – PwC and Microsoft have announced a strategic collaboration to accelerate AI-powered transformation across industries. This collaboration will create AI agents designed to augment business operations, automate processes, and forge innovation.

In this partnership, Microsoft will provide its AI technologies including Copilot Studio, combining them with PwC’s vast industrial knowledge and expertise. AI agents created from this partnership will highly autonomously undertake tasks, analyze data, and assist in decision-making to enhance business productivity and minimize costs. So companies can scale AI adoption from mere employee assistance to fully autonomous agents integrated into their enterprise ecosystem.

“Serving 85% of the Fortune 500, we are not just looking at Copilot for efficiency gains and productivity increases but also for fundamentally changing business processes. Copilot is not just a tool – but a platform for end-to-end transformation and to enable clients to get impactful products and offerings to market quicker and at a fraction of the cost,” stated Stephanie Mosticchio, Global Microsoft Alliance Leader, PwC US.
“This is why we are excited to collaborate with Microsoft, to share the power of agentic AI with our broad client base. As one of the largest Microsoft 365 Copilot customers globally, PwC has Copilot licenses enabled and deployed in more than 40 countries. This achievement is underlined by our recognition as the Microsoft 2024 Global Partner of the Year for Building with AI.”

PwC’s AI-driven approach includes hyper-automation, which gives companies the chance to automate complex end-to-end processes as well as logistics. In doing so, the partnership will provide operational efficiencies through secure and ethical AI usage involving cloud computing, data analytics, and intelligent automation. The PwC Agents Factory framework will provide structured AI agent deployment, prioritizing data privacy, regulatory compliance, and industry-specific customization.

Stephen Boyle, GSI Leader at Microsoft, emphasized, “Our collaboration with PwC underscores our commitment to provide transformative solutions that will enable growth and deliver lasting value for customers. Using the innovative potential of Copilot, and autonomous agent capabilities, we can help customers accelerate AI transformation across industries, to help organizations achieve successful business outcomes.”

AI-driven business transformation has undeniably become the key to competitiveness. To enable organizations to streamline their decision-making and create new avenues of growth, PwC and Microsoft are focused on facilitating the large-scale adoption of AI.

Mauro Xavier, EMEA Microsoft Alliance Leader, PwC Spain, noted, “In today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape, adopting agentic AI is not just an option but a necessity for businesses aiming to stay competitive. Our collaboration with Microsoft leverages the strengths of both organizations to deliver innovative AI solutions that drive efficiency, foster innovation, and unlock new avenues for growth. By integrating agentic AI, we are enabling our clients to transform their operations, enhance decision-making, and achieve lasting business value. This collaboration is a testimonial for our shared vision of empowering organizations to navigate the complexities of digital transformation and succeed in the modern era.”

As AI adoption surges across the spectrum, this partnership is a step in the direction of AI-driven enterprise transformation.
