The partnership believes that the launch of Airtel IQ Business Connect addresses various challenges faced by Indian businesses. Firstly, the cloud-based application requires no additional hardware or infrastructure and can be integrated into existing systems, allowing organizations to maintain a consistent customer experience through each touchpoint.
Secondly, the app can streamline internal communications and is designed to support a hybrid workforce. This enables remote and hybrid personnel, such as relationship managers and field workers, to stay connected with the workforce at all times.
Airtel Business describes its latest offering as “an omni-channel cloud communications platform that unifies cloud communications and customer experience management.” This addition significantly boosts Airtel’s broader cloud communications portfolio as it brings in Vonage’s expertise in building unified omni-channel communications solutions.
Talking about the launch, Reggie Scales, the Head of Applications at Vonage, stated,
In today’s dynamic business environment, effective communication and collaboration are essential. With the power of Vonage’s Unified Communications as a Service capabilities, coupled with Airtel’s secure and reliable network, businesses in India will be able to enjoy a multi-channel approach to communications that combines voice and messaging, enabling consumers to connect and collaborate with brands from anywhere and across any channel.”
Airtel IQ can also be integrated within popular communication channels such as WhatsApp, with Airtel being the first telecom to serve as a Business Service Provider (BSP) for WhatsApp. As digital transformation initiatives accelerate, enterprise platforms such as Airtel IQ Business Connect will be a priority for businesses looking for seamless omni-channel solutions to optimize customer communications and engagement.
