Atos Partners with Dell to Deliver GenAI with On-Premise Control

Paris, France – November 18, 2024 – Paris, France-Today, Atos has presented its Sovereign AI Platform which is an innovative offering that empowers organizations aspiring to deploy AI and generative AI (GenAI) solutions at the enterprise-level on-premise.

This platform which is a solution from Dell Technologies offers AI model build and upkeep services to clients while eliminating worries about data sovereignty, privacy, and latency issues.

The platform combines Dell’s GenAI technologies with machine learning operations (MLOps) of Atos firm enabling healthcare, finance, utilities, and other industries to implement a highly scalable and well-secured AI regime.

With this solution, businesses are able to manage their data and AI models without handing their data over to third parties and avoiding data breaches or violations of compliance.

“The combination of Dell’s leadership in on-premises solutions and Atos expertise in AI and MLOps creates a unique opportunity for companies to embrace data sovereignty while leveraging AI’s potential,”

Said Stéphane Richard, Global Head of Technology Services at Atos.

Alexandre Brousse, Head of Partners, EMEA, Dell Technologies, added,

“This collaboration ensures access to cutting-edge AI technology while advancing sovereign AI objectives for infrastructure, data, and operations.”

The platform is based on the autonomous use of Kubernetes clusters, model libraries, and energy-efficient APIs for the integration of AI models.

In addition to that, the on-premises monitoring tools that facilitate cost control and lower latencies are deployed. Available in France, Germany, and the UK, the solution will scale up internationally as per the IT sovereignty requirement of nations.

Atos’s offering may address the concerns of 37% of IT decision-makers reported by Initial Gartner research that implementation of GenAI was hindered due to its perceived sovereignty responsibility.

Given the importance and priority of legal AI compliance issues within regions such as the EAA, this platform should facilitate a step change in dealing with AI across multiple industries.
