Canva Introduces Visual Suite 2.0 With AI Capabilities

At the Canva Create 2025 event held at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, the design software giant Canva announced the launch of Visual Suite 2.0, which it calls its major innovation since its inception.

According to the official source, Visual Suite 2.0 aims to fill the gap between productivity and creativity.

“Our community of 230 million people tells us they want creativity and productivity to coexist–not compete,” said Melanie Perkins, Canva’s co-founder and CEO.“Visual Suite 2.0 is our answer.”

The tool bundles together an impressive array of tools all under one design framework, including documents, presentations, websites, spreadsheets, and even code. This approach helps a workplace where teams no longer jump between disjointed tools. They can now focus on a single, intelligent ecosystem.

Canva Visual Suite 2.0’s Crucial Features

The official blog post highlighted some incredible features:

  • Magic Studio at Scale: This tool can enable rapid, on-brand content production with auto-filling templates for sales and marketing with real-time data.
  • Magic Charts: It turns complex datasets into animated, scrollable infographics, which reduces dependency on data specialists.
  • Canva Sheets: A visual-first spreadsheet tool integrating data connectors and AI-powered insights.
  • Canva AI: It is a conversational, voice-enabled design assistant that can edit photos, generate images, and write content.

Canva Code: This feature allows users to build interactive content and educational tools using simple prompts without coding.

Canva has implemented a governance framework under its Canva Shield to ensure transparency. It includes safety filters, moderation layers, and bias mitigation systems. Users also retain control over how their data is managed.

Canva has pledged $200 million through its Creator Fund to ensure fair compensation for contributors whose work supports AI-generated content.
