DataDome Gives Businesses Control Over AI Bots

Amid the boom in artificial intelligence, DataDome revealed the new advancements to its platform. DataDome is a leading cyber fraud protection firm.

These updates, announced ahead of the RSA Conference 2025, will empower businesses to detect, categorize, and respond to AI traffic, including LLMs and automated crawlers, in under 2 milliseconds.

As artificial intelligence becomes both a tool for innovation and exploitation, traditional fraud defenses are proving inadequate.

DataDome’s latest announcement will change its focus from identity-based verification to intent-based analysis. It will help businesses to collect deeper insights into the motives behind AI-driven traffic.

It will allow businesses to draw a line between legitimate automation and malicious activity, especially as LLM crawlers become increasingly sophisticated.

According to the official press release, it includes a core update with an enhanced AI detection engine. It is capable of adapting in real time using massive behavioral datasets.

Furthermore, this newly deployed model has already blocked 1.2 million malicious requests within 48 hours. It means the system will have a more efficacy in identifying threats based on traffic anomalies like IP patterns and unique headers.

DataDome has also launched a partner program, with Skyfire as its inaugural collaborator. The integration of Skyfire’s KYA (Know Your Agent) identifies, and payment tools allow businesses not only to manage AI agent access but to monetize it.

“AI isn’t a feature—it’s the foundation of everything we do. It’s what powers our ability to stop bots and fraud in real time, with precision and scale. But more than that, it’s what gives our customers the visibility and control they need to stay ahead as AI agents reshape the internet economy,” said Benjamin Fabre, co-founder and CEO of DataDome.
