Fetch.ai Launches ASI-1 Mini for Agentic AI Workflows

Fetch.ai Launches ASI-1 Mini for Agentic AI Workflows

Fetch.ai has officially rolled out ASI-1 Mini, a native Web3 large language model (LLM) designed to facilitate complex agentic AI workflows. ASI-1 Mini is capable of delivering the same results comparable to leading LLMs but at significantly lower hardware costs.

ASI Mini integrates with Web3 ecosystems, enabling secure, autonomous AI interactions. The launch sets the stage for further AI innovations, including the upcoming Cortex suite.

This approach promises to enhance large language model (LLM) applications and generalized intelligence.

Humayun Sheikh, CEO of Fetch.ai and Chairman of the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance said, “This launch marks the beginning of ASI-1 Mini’s rollout and a new era of community-owned AI. By decentralizing AI’s value chain, we’re empowering the Web3 community to invest in, train, and own foundational AI models.”

In the announcement, the firm has also revealed its plan to introduce new advancements. This includes advanced agentic tool integration, multi-model capabilities, and deeper Web 3 synergy to “enhance ASI-1 Mini’s automation capabilities while keeping AI’s value creation in the hands of its contributors.”

Fetch.ai Embraces Decentralised AI Ownership

At the heart of Fetch.ai’s vision, is the concept of decentralization over AI ownership, which allows Web3 participants not only to use ASI-1 Mini but also to contribute to its training and development.

Also, individuals can get direct benefits from the economic growth of high-value AI assets. The platform allows users to invest in AI model collections, participate in their evolution, and share revenue streams.

ASI-1 Mini contains advanced reasoning capabilities with four different modes: Multi-Step, Complete, Optimised, and Short Reasoning. These modes enable dynamic adaptability based on task complexity.

Unlike traditional LLMs that demand enormous computing power, ASI-1 Mini is optimized for high performance on just two GPUs. This reduces hardware expenses by up to 80%.

According to the announcement, benchmark results indicate that ASI-1 Mini matches or surpasses leading LLMs in fields such as medicine, history, business, and logical reasoning. This includes the Massive Multitask Language Understanding (MMLU) test.
