Fremantle has launched Imaginae Studios, which is designed to leverage the power of artificial intelligence in the creative mediums.
Best known for global hits like Got Talent and the Oscar-winning Poor Things, Fremantle will use Imaginae Studios as a forward-thinking initiative, which is designed to merge human creativity with AI innovation.

The unit will build a team tasked with exploring and applying a wide spectrum of AI tools to empower artists and producers, while encouraging experimentation at the intersection of technology and imagination.
The launch was led by Fremantle Group COO and CEO of Europe, Andrea Scrosati, who has been at the forefront of the company’s recent strategic expansion. It includes the unveiling of Fremantle Sports earlier this week.
In a statement, Scrosati highlighted the label’s core purpose: “AI offers incredible new opportunities to transform ideas into images, video, sound, and art. Imagine Studios will serve as a bridge between extraordinary human creativity and cutting-edge technology.”
Crucially, the studio is not about replacing creatives with algorithms, but about enhancing their capabilities. “Behind every powerful AI tool,” Scrosati noted, “there must be a brilliant creative mind guiding its potential.”
Fremantle’s move comes amid a broader industry shift, as content producers grapple with how to integrate AI ethically and effectively. Imagine Studios may offer a template for others, one that champions innovation while keeping storytelling at its core.
