AI Solutions Take Center Stage in Slalom and Google Public Sector Collaboration

SEATTLE—Oct. 15, 2024—Seattle-based technology consulting firm Slalom has made a strategic announcement regarding the expansion of its cooperation with Google Public Sector.

The goal of such a partnership is to speed up the rapid growth of AI-based digital transformation in the state and local governments and educational institutions in the USA.

The partnership utilizes Google Public Sector’s AI tools such as its Rapid Innovation Team and Google Career Certifications integration to provide innovative solutions to these industries.

The Partnership is primarily geared towards the creation of 12 AI solution accelerators which will assist with cloud migration, Data Management, and AI offerings while enhancing Cloud research activities in higher learning institutions.

“We’re excited to expand our collaboration with Google Public Sector, bringing the transformative potential of AI to state and local governments and educational institutions,”

Said Kory Kimball, GM, of Global Public and Social Impact at Slalom.

“This partnership will enable these organizations to leverage technology to address critical challenges, elevate the services they provide, and ultimately build a better future for their communities.”

There have already been some completed projects, including cooperation with medical institutions and academic centers, where Slalom and Google applied AI for grant writing and clinical studies and thus enhanced patient care and education.

“Google Public Sector is committed to partnering with organizations like Slalom to deliver innovative solutions that meet the unique needs of the public sector,”

Said Brent Mitchell, Vice President, Go-to-Market at Google Public Sector.

“By combining Slalom’s deep industry expertise with Google Cloud’s cutting-edge technology, we can help SLED organizations achieve their digital transformation goals and better serve their constituents.”

As the provision of public services continues to change through the use of AI technology, both Slalom and Google are well-placed to provide solutions that are creative and easily adaptable.
