London, UK – 1st October 2024 – HotelRunner acquires Bookingate, a platform known for providing travel agencies access to hotel inventory and hospitality services. With its inclusion in HotelRunner’s portfolio, the latter aims to become a tech-powered, all-in-one solution for the hospitality and travel industry.
HotelRunner’s Bookingate acquisition will also help improve its platform’s B2B functionalities for global travel agencies, metasearch platforms and travel payment providers. The stakeholders of HotelRunner believe the strategic acquisition will empower their long-established brand in leading the travel and tourism sector.
Founder and Managing Partner of HotelRunner, Ali Beklen, expressed excitement about the acquisition and its potential to make them the go-to solution for tourists, travel agencies, hotels and hospitality suppliers. He said,
