Las Vegas, NV — November 25, 2024-IBM and AWS introduced fresh initiatives to enhance responsible AI practices at the recently concluded AWS re: Invent.
The two companies plan to harness the potential of the Granite models of IBM to produce enterprise-level generative AI while embedding security and governance infrastructures to deploy and maintain AI across organizations.
New enhancements include the integration of the Watsonx governance with Amazon SageMaker and the IBM Guardium AI Security platform, which cut across the need for transparency, security as well as operational efficiency.
“AWS’s technology engineering director Chris Grusz said, It is very clear that IBM will focus more on the integration of its capabilities with AWS in AI stack so that in the end customers are able to use responsible AI in very disruptive ways.”
Mahmoud Elmashmi, Managing Partner, IBM Consulting also stated that,
“This is a collaborative work that focuses on AI governance and performance, with guaranteed businesses in deploying models that they will adopt.”
This extended cooperation also includes new Granite 3.0 models and IBM Instana observability for further operational synergies.
With the AI solutions of IBM designed for the AWS infrastructure, businesses are provided with the needed tools to manage, protect as well as grow various generative AI applications thereby achieving the next phase of making enterprise AI accessible to all businesses.
