Inspira Technologies Unveils AI-Powered Oxygenation Sensor

Israel-based medical device company, Inspira Technologies OXY has announced the integration of a next-generation oxygenation indicator into its AI-powered HYLA blood sensor technology, which will transform critical care by enabling real-time monitoring of tissue oxygenation without the need for traditional blood draws. 

The AI-powered indicator is designed to provide data through real-time and continuous monitoring of oxygenation levels, which can help in the early detection of hypoxia and other respiratory complications. 

Inspira Technologies’s HYLA Sensors To Transform the Medical Sector

The system uses AI and optical sensors to check lung function and vital blood parameters with sharp precision. This development will position HYLA as a “potential game-changer in the $2.5 billion point-of-care testing and arterial blood gas analyzer market.”

However, HYLA sensors are currently going through a clinical validation process at Sheba Medical Center, ranked among the world’s top smart hospitals. Inspira expects to release preliminary results soon, with an FDA submission for regulatory approval expected in the latter half of 2025.

This technology strives to support patient care by maintaining consciousness during treatment while checking vital parameters.
