Kayana and Accenture Partner to Build AI-Driven Digital Factory in Manila

MANILA, November. 11, 2024 – Kayana Solutions Inc. and Accenture (NYSE: ACN) have signed a partnership in a bid to ramp up the digital transition in the Philippines. In their joint efforts, the two organizations will develop a modern digital factory whose objective is to facilitate digital product development for the MVP Group of Companies.

It will utilize AI and be data-driven so that it can provide services that will continually evolve with the demands of the Filipino consumer and commercial sector.

“This digital initiative will allow me to put technology at the center of the nation’s growth,”

Said Manny V. Pangilinan, the Chairman and CEO of Kayana.

“It is no secret that the Philippines’ future economy is dependent on digital solutions and it is our responsibility to discover new avenues from which Filipinos can take advantage of this.” He added,

“Creating this digital factory is part of fulfilling that commitment.”

The center is expected to aggregate all the required skills and knowledge for building end-user experiences powered by AI.

As part of the deal, Accenture Song, Accenture’s creative division, will undertake brand management, product development, and UI/UX design.

The country managing director and technology lead of Accenture in the Philippines, Ambe Tierro emphasizes the relevance of the agreement and stresses,

“It is our honor to help the MVP Group to start doing something which would benefit the Philippines’ enterprises and consumers,”

Also mentioning that the technological side of the MVP Group’s digital initiatives will be provided by Accenture.

Accenture Song’s Asia Pacific President, Flaviano Faleiro describes the goal with OneArmy’s vision for the digital factory, stating:

“We intend to expand OneArmy’s operational reach and help re-design customer interactions with innovative solutions. We aim to help Kayana take the lead in customer-driven development.”

The project is part of a larger trend of expanding AI capabilities globally and places MVP Group at the forefront of digital marketing.

The different services that will be offered in the digital factory include; digital marketing and commerce as well as service platforms which will also support other Filipino businesses in building comprehensive digital solutions.

The escalation of this engagement, however, represents a new phase of AI-driven focused growth in particular in the Philippines market.
