Lenovo MWC 2025: AI-Powered ThinkPad and ThinkBook Lineup Transforms Business Computing

Barcelona – Lenovo launched its AI-enabled business computing portfolio at MWC 2025, featuring next-gen ThinkPad and ThinkBook laptops along with concept innovations aimed at the emerging demands of hybrid workers.

Headlined by the ThinkBook “codename Flip,” this AI PC Concept showcases an 18.1-inch outer folding OLED display, and transforms a compact 13-inch laptop into a spacious work area consisting of five distinct usage modes.

“AI is fundamentally transforming how businesses operate, and at Lenovo, we are committed to delivering smarter, more secure, and more adaptable solutions that empower professionals in today’s fast-evolving workplace. Our latest ThinkPad and ThinkBook innovations leverage AI to enhance productivity, streamline IT management, and provide more secure and seamless hybrid work experiences,” said Eric Yu, SVP of SMB and Commercial Product Center, Lenovo Intelligent Devices Group.

“The ThinkBook codename Flip AI PC Concept exemplifies our vision for the future—where AI-powered devices drive efficiency, personalization, and collaboration like never before. With our expanding portfolio of AI-integrated business devices and intelligent IT solutions, Lenovo is helping organizations to harness the power of AI in an ever-changing world.”

This new range from Lenovo comprises the ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1, the first convertible in the ThinkPad T series, and the ultra-light ThinkPad X13 Gen 6 weighing in at just 0.933kg. There is also the new ThinkBook 16p Gen 6 aimed at power users that boasts exceptional AI-driven performance from the Intel Core Ultra processors and a higher 180W system TDP.

Lenovo also displayed its modular computing innovations with the Magic Bay ecosystem concepts, such as attachable Magic Bay Tiko devices and modular secondary displays. The ThinkBook 3D Laptop Concept brings glasses-free 3D computing to business professionals, while the Lenovo AI Ring concept introduces gesture-based control for spatial computing.

The company also offers cross-device integration for PCs and Motorola smartphones, which were considered as some new features of the Lenovo AI Now assistant that was first introduced in November 2024. On enterprise security, Lenovo had recently unveiled solutions for ThinkShield Firmware Assurance and Lenovo Device Orchestration for AI-powered business device protection across dispersed workforces.

New devices will start rolling out in April 2025, with the ThinkPad X13 Gen 6 starting at 1399€ and the ThinkBook 16p Gen 6 at 2999€ (excluding VAT).
