Lenovo and Cisco Unveil Collaborative Solutions to Revolutionize Hybrid Work and Enterprise AI

LONDON, October 28, 2024 – In an exciting development, Lenovo and Cisco have issued a joint statement confirming the deepening of their partnership aimed at introducing a new suite of solutions that will change the work and enterprise infrastructure.

At the Cisco Partner Summit 2024, the two companies revealed multiple integrated solutions accelerating the simplification of IT and the digital transformation of organizations and their users as the AI ecosystem continues to evolve.

“Our partnership with Cisco is a testament to delivering customer-centric innovation,” said Brian Connors, Worldwide VP & GM of Lenovo’s Enterprise and SMB Segment & AI, Infrastructure Solutions Group.

“These new solutions represent our joint commitment to providing businesses with the tools they need to succeed in a rapidly changing world.”

Some of the major solutions announced include the TruScale Meeting Room as a Service (TS MRaaS), which is a fully managed collaboration service built with award-winning video technology from Cisco and full support services from Lenovo. This solution, which focuses on the meeting room aspect of business, enhances the experience without making the process of modernizing meeting rooms unnecessarily complicated.

The TruScale WorkSmart hybrid work solution was also created by the companies. This integrated offering incorporates Lenovo’s Digital Workplace Solutions and Cisco’s secure networking, collaboration, and security capabilities. Such a solution enhances employee productivity, streamlines IT operations, and reduces costs for enterprises.

“Cisco and Lenovo’s strategic collaboration allows us to bring the power of our portfolios together to create solutions for our customers’ most complex problems,” said Shannon Leininger, VP of Global Partner Sales at Cisco.

“Whether accelerating hybrid and flexible work strategies or preparing their infrastructure for AI, our customers can trust Cisco and Lenovo to deliver simplified, fully supported, and future-proofed solutions.”

In addition to that, the alliance covers Lenovo’s data center portfolio, whereby Cisco’s networking elements have been incorporated into Lenovo’s Factory and Rack Integration services as well as ThinkAgile HCI Hybrid Cloud Solutions and SAP HANA. These resulting solutions enable organizations to enhance AI, machine learning, and critical mission workloads in a highly scalable and high-performance architecture with advanced security features.

Cisco and Lenovo’s collaboration marks a technological feat, with both companies coming together to serve the modern business demands of today. With their understanding of the issues at hand and their range of products and services, the companies look to change the parameters of how businesses operate, innovate, and succeed in this century.
