Barcelona – Lenovo has launched the world’s smallest entry-level server designed for AI inferencing, making it possible to use enterprise-level artificial intelligence solutions anywhere. The ThinkEdge SE100, unveiled during MWC 2025, was intended to provide easy access to edge AI for businesses of any size, all without sacrificing the complete enterprise performance in a package that is up to 85% smaller than conventional servers.

The breakthrough server addresses a critical market need as edge computing is projected to grow at an annual rate of nearly 37% by 2030.
Offering GPU-ready performance in a compact package that can be configured for almost any application – desktop, wall mount, ceiling, or 1U rack-the ThinkEdge SE100 can easily fit into the most restrictive locations without compromising any capability. Quiet as a mouse, the server boasts the energy performance found in an enterprise environment, supported with enhanced security features into the bargain, all housed within a whisper-quiet design.
Engineered to be uniquely affordable, the SE100 breaks price barriers to accelerate ROI – addressing what recent global IDC research commissioned by Lenovo identified as the greatest barrier to AI adoption. The server can be equipped with up to six or eight performance cores and scaled from a base device to an industrial-grade, GPU-optimized solution.

The Lenovo ThinkEdge SE100 also features Open Cloud Automation (LOC-A) and Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) components that help in the reduction of deployment costs up to 47% via time and resources up to 60%. Power consumption remains below 140W in its fullest GPU-equipped configuration, cuts overall emissions by as much as 84% in a market geared toward energy efficiency, and saves costs in power consumption.
