Mumbai – L&T has won a landmark contract to build the first AI-enabled, sustainable, 10-MW data center at Tashkent in Uzbekistan. This cutting-edge facility will fuse advanced AI tech with leading measures of sustainability which will set an enviable benchmark for future data infrastructure around this region.
L&T‘s Buildings & Factories vertical will undertake the project, which involves engineering, procuring, and building a next-generation data center. The center is designed to host modern AI applications while maintaining environmental sustainability and energy efficiency. Its security system will be strong, using the latest security technologies to protect sensitive data.
Commenting on this, Mr. M V Satish, Member of the Executive Committee & Advisor to the CMD, L&T, said, “It is indeed a matter of great pride that L&T Buildings & Factories vertical will be executing this AI-enabled and sustainable data center in Tashkent.
