Lumen Expands Network Capabilities with Google Cloud’s AI Support

Lumen Technologies Partners with Google Cloud to Drive AI Innovation and Accelerate Digital Transformation

Denver, Nov. 5, 2024 — Lumen’s seamless transition into the AI realm came about because of its association with Google’s most powerful cloud platform. Lumen, Kinnaly’s Chief Technology, and Product Officer mentioned that

“Our engineers no longer need to go to the systems that control our infrastructure to verify or look for diagnostic information–it’s just always there.”

It’s certainly an interesting outlook for AI and its potential use in identifying critical faults in any network infrastructure, for instance, Google Clouds’ brain.

Now with support from Google Cloud services, Lumen’s mobile network will be enhanced by employing proactive measures.

On this occasion, AI-powered features aim to reduce network downtimes as much as possible while optimally providing customers with faster solutions.

Lumen announced on November 5, 2024, that it has extensive plans to integrate Google Cloud technologies in a relatively shorter time span. Indeed,

“The combination of AI tools with human support is what we believe will deliver the most robust outcomes,” proclaimed one of the executives from Lumen Technologies.

According to Lumen has the potential to become the leader in integrating AI into all mobile applications via the cloud’. And they might be right, with limitations imposed only by the sky, Lumen seemed to be relatively optimistic about AI technologies, especially after learning about the way Google’s most sophisticated cloud services work.

In this partnership, Lumen is also enhancing its Private Connectivity Fabric℠ to reinforce Google Cloud’s global network to meet the rising demand for AI-based cloud services.

“Lumen is a trusted network for AI, and we are excited to partner with them,”

Said Bikashole Koley, VP of Global Networking & Infrastructure at Google Cloud.

Such infrastructure growth helps both companies to utilize Lumen’s robust fiber network and embed even more AI capabilities into their processes and support.

As AI slowly evolves the nature of business strategies across enterprises, this partnership is likely to promote efficiency for the two firms and create new standards in the provision of digital customer services.
