Moments Lab has introduced MXT-2, which is an advanced video sequencing and content description technology that promises to redefine how media companies, create, analyze, and repurpose video content.
MXT-2’s Game-Changing Features
MXT-2 introduces Custom Moments, which allows users to generate time-coded descriptions of key moments in videos. This feature is ideal for pinpointing captivating scenes in unscripted TV shows. This makes it easier to craft viral shorts, trailers, and highlight reels.
Additionally, ‘Custom Insights’ allows MXT-2 users to automatically generate texts of any length, including titles, teaser descriptions, and even full-length articles. The tool also automates the classification of themes and editorial topics in videos, which enhances the efficiency of content management.
“We’re proud to say that MXT-2 is the best technology in the world to sequence and describe video content,” Frederic Petitpont, CTO and co-founder of Moments Lab said. “In fact, MXT-2 outperforms Google Research’s Vid2Seq on video sequencing by 47%.”
“Our mission is to remove the roadblocks to better video storytelling by making it simpler to search through and sort ever-growing media libraries,” Philippe Petitpont, CEO and co-founder of Moments Lab said. “MXT-2 provides our users with even deeper editorial insights and video searchability at scale to maximize content creation, reuse, and repurposing and deliver tangible ROI.”
MXT-2 is now available on the Moments Lab platform and can also be integrated into existing workflows through an API. Attendees can experience a live demo of MXT-2 at the 2025 NAB Show in Las Vegas from April 6-9 at the Moments Lab booth.
Moments Lab will also participate in the BEIT Conference at the NAB Show, where Khalil Guetari, AI software engineer at Moments Lab, will present a season titled “Vision and Language Models for Enhanced Archive Video Management” on April 7 from 10:40 AM to 11:00 AM PDT in Room W222-W223.
