November 26, 2024, | New York-Geoff Lewis, Founder and Managing Partner of Bedrock Capital, announced that
“Open AI has become the most valuable consumer brand in Artificial Intelligence.”
The comments came as Lewis was speaking on CNBC’s Squawk Box, where he noted that the organization’s powers over large language models and models in general cannot be contested.
“With the current developments in AI, OpenAI has established itself as the ultimate AI Company. Their improvements in large language models have tremendously increased their status in the technology race,” Lewis said.
The technology makes it possible to increase organizational scale. Lewis also discussed even expanding OpenAI’s reach; however, he considered the combination of systems to be ideal for both businesses and end-users.
Lewis believes that OpenAI’s product and partnership decisions placed them on the high ground compared to other firms in this competitive developing area.
Shifting his focus to the larger AI picture, Lewis remains confident regarding future AI mergers and acquisitions in expansion as smaller AIs would do everything to compete against the top dogs.
Nonetheless, he maintained that OpenAI continues to lead in bringing the latest AI advancements along with practical applications to the market.
“Apart from being able to use the AI technology, they managed to create a strong brand in AI which is an accomplishment in itself,” Lewis stated.
Certainly, the name OpenAI produces a lot of intrigue in the tech world as being a pioneer. While other competitors, such as Google DeepMind, or Anthropic are trying to make up some of that distance, Lewis says that OpenAI is still substantially ahead.
As people outstretch their hands to get advanced AI solutions, OpenAI’s consumer-first focus would place its offerings on the leading edge of the global AI revolution.
