Nov 5, 2024, Oracle Communications Summit, Paris, France-Vodafone Business IoT has forged a strategic partnership with Oracle which will strengthen the global IoT connectivity capabilities for the Oracle Enterprise Communications Platform (ECP).
The deployment of this integration, enabled by Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure and Vodafone’s Global SIM, promises to enhance many major industries through the transformative power of near real-time data intelligence, with applications in healthcare, construction, and others.
The partnership takes advantage of Oracle’s edge architecture for AI-enabled device management and seamless connectivity that is secure and compliant with Vodafone’s network available in over 180 countries.
Consequently, industries are now able to launch IoT services at a global scale with guaranteed compliance and effectiveness.

The Andean GBIX submarine cable system, encompassing Ecuador, Colombia, and Peru, is being strengthened via direct interconnections with other submarine cable systems and nearby data centers union with Oracle asserts
This IoT boost enables multiple industry verticals that require value-added features such as secure lifecycle management and media routing.
