MAUI, October 23, 2024 – Qualcomm Technologies has announced a landmark multi-year collaboration with Google to revolutionize automotive technology through advanced generative AI solutions, marking a significant step forward in digital vehicle transformation.

The two companies will integrate Snapdragon Digital Chassis and automotive solutions developed by Google in order to establish a common baseline for the AI-ready cockpit and SDV architecture.

This initiative will utilize Google AI to design user-friendly voice assistants, enhanced visuals of map interfaces, and timely information displays that will be facilitated by Snapdragon chipset edge AI SoCs and Qualcomm AI Hub.

The endeavor also promotes a reduction in deployment cycles and allows for connected services via Google Cloud, a step considered revolutionary for automotive technology integration and the future of transportation.
