The report highlights the significance of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) for modern organizations, as it centralizes insights on access management, critical for Zero Trust strategies. It says that IGA delivers “a centralized view of who has access, who provided the access, and who has access for how long.”
Essentially, IGA helps in ensuring security compliance and prevents lateral movement by threat actors within the business environment. RSA Governance & Lifecycle has secured more than 13 trillion cloud and on-premise IT environments, helping businesses defend themselves from emerging cyber threats.
RSA Governance & Lifecycle has been adopted by diverse industries, validating its recognition by leading cybersecurity experts and businesses. RSA CEO Rohit Ghai said about the latest achievement,
“Growing numbers of users, devices, entitlements, and environments create a larger, more vulnerable attack surface. That’s why security-first leaders in government financial services, healthcare, energy, manufacturing, and more rely on RSA Governance & Lifecycle.”
The report also noted that innovations are key in driving RSA’s success. Its new features, such as gamification, enhance user engagement during the compliance process. Further, by offering advanced, configurable dashboards, RSA’s solution provides comprehensive reporting and risk management capabilities.
The KuppingerCole Leadership Compass also mentioned the RSA’s risk analytics engine, delivering key insights into access governance, among its several strengths.
The reason behind the introduction of new features was explained by RSA’s Chief Product and Technology Officer, Jim Taylor, saying,
“By bringing new features like gamification to make compliance processes more engaging to advanced dashboards that help analysts triage high-priority risks, RSA is continuing to bring innovations to market that help our customers defend a growing attack surface.”
The recognition follows RSA being named a leader in the 2024 Identity Fabrics Leadership Compass, recognizing cybersecurity service providers that delivered comprehensive identity services required by modern organizations.
The latest award only reinforces RSA’s reputation as a security-first leader and widens its portfolio of identity management capabilities.
