San Francisco, October 23, 2024 – Salesforce announced today the launch of an AI-powered connected asset management platform aimed at transforming the manufacturing industry.
The system integrates AI capabilities to provide manufacturers with real-time tracking, predictive maintenance, and improved asset utilization, according to Salesforce executives.
This platform promises to allow companies to track the performance of their equipment, identify faults as they arise, and minimize interruptions in operations.
“This solution empowers manufacturers to leverage data in ways they couldn’t before, driving operational efficiency,”
Said Cindy Bolt, Senior Vice President of Salesforce Industries.
This is Salesforce’s latest offering and it barely goes against the requirements that industries are making regarding innovation and more data-based manufacturing,’ said one market researcher.
With the AI-based system promising deeper analytics and increased interconnectivity between devices, the asset management process is efficient, and operational costs are minimized.
“By combining IoT with AI, we’re helping companies move from reactive to predictive maintenance,”
Lidiane Jones, the Chief Product Officer of Salesforce said.
This is expected to cut across many different sectors, automotive and consumer goods manufacturing for example, as more and more enterprises employ AI to develop more intelligent and effective assets.
As the solution rolls out worldwide, more information on the system and customer reviews are expected.
