Samsung Health Adds AI-Powered Features for Managing Health Records

October 22, 2024, Seoul, South Korea- Samsung has enriched its Health app with amazing AI features that make it simpler for users to monitor their medications, health records, and food intake.

The update of this app in October 2024 is far-reaching as it said it would offer users an integrated system where they can access their health records from clinics, hospitals, and large health networks.

In collaboration with b.well Connected Health, this app now has the most documented users of Epic and Cerner, which are among the largest US EMR systems.

With this update, both US users and Samsung users will be provided with AI-enhanced views of their health,”

Jooan Kim, VP Of Samsung Health commented.

The medicine tracking feature is quite popular in the USA but is now expanding its reach by including features to South Korea and India. It also provides regional access. Over-the counter medications can be scanned so that users can search for products visually.

“Our partnership helps bluetooth users to be more effective in managing their medications devices by using alerts which are powered with AI technology to determine missed doses or interactions,”

Greg Jones, CEO of Fatsecret explained.

Apart from this, the app adds a barcode feature for food tracking which enables users to scan and input foods including calories and nutrient values.

This option is first available to selected countries in Europe and the US, with the rest of the world following suit in the future. AI-powered additions will benefit users of Samsung Health by making it easy to maintain the well-being of the users with so much effort.

Samsung is already expanding on new technologies by bringing together AI and wearables that enable better health management as our digital health solutions case emphasizes.
