Samsung to Unveil Groundbreaking AI Monitors and Gaming Innovations at CES 2025

KoreaAhead of the CES event, Samsung Electronics announced its 2025 range of monitors that promise revolutionary advancements by integrating AI capabilities, industry-first OLED sizes, and enhanced productivity tools. From gaming to professional creativity, these displays, which include the Smart Monitor M9, Odyssey OLED G6 and G8, and the ViewFinity S8, have been designed for an array of users.

“With the new monitors in our industry-leading lineups, we’re giving people more ways to explore the content and connections that they love in new ways,” said Hoon Chung, Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics.

“Because of our new AI capabilities and size options, 2025 will see users across the world find the right monitor that fits them.”

Equipped with AI Picture Optimizer technology, the Smart Monitor M9 analyses the content consumed and modifies the settings of the displays automatically. The M9 has a 32”, 4K OLED display combined with AI-driven 4K Upscaling Pro, ensuring you the very best of viewing across entertainment, gaming, and productivity applications.

Odyssey OLED G8 by Samsung is the world’s first 27″ 4K OLED gaming monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate, while the Odyssey OLED G6 sets a new benchmark with a refresh rate of 500Hz  for unparalleled gaming speed. Both monitor models come with AMD FreeSync™ Premium Pro, NVIDIA G-Sync™ compatibility, and ultra-low response times for further seamless gameplay.

One of the most striking features for professionals is the ViewFinity S8, offering a gigantic 37″ display with 4K resolution and a color gamut of 99% sRGB. Ergonomics and eye care with TÜV certification provide a productivity gain through multitasking-friendly features such as a built-in KVM switch and 90W USB-C connectivity.

Samsung has changed the way people relate with AI personalization to redefine the arena of gaming accuracy and even work efficiency.

These innovations will be on display at Samsung’s First Look at CES on January 5, 2025.
