Korea – Samsung Electronics has announced its participation at CES 2025 with pioneering projects from its C-Lab. This includes 15 startups under AI, IoT, digital health, and robotics. Among the highlights, there are about 12 startups coming from C-Lab Outside, 2 from C-Lab Inside, and one spin-off will present their solutions at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas.
The C-Lab projects took home 12 CES Innovation Awards, including the Best of Innovation honor for GhostPass, a biometric authentication start-up.
“CES is an important opportunity for Korean startups to gain a foothold in the global market and increase brand awareness,” said Pilgyu Jeon, Executive Vice President and Head of the Creativity & Innovation Center at Samsung Electronics. “C-Lab will continue to support startups on the journey to becoming internationally recognized global innovators.”
Some of the emerging ventures include DEEP.Fine’s Vision-AI platform, GhostPass’ hands-free authentication, and Quester’s hand-tracking gloves. Since its inception in 2012, the C-Lab program has lent support to over 900 startups, advancing innovation in technology.
“Thanks to the support and coaching of C-Lab Outside, we were able to grow our company in a short period of time,” said Sunkwan Lee, CEO and founder of GhostPass. “We are excited to attend CES 2025 with C-Lab and showcase our solution, which won the CES Best of Innovation Award.”
From January 7 to 10, 2025, C-Lab’s award-winning technologies will be showcased at Eureka Park to CES attendees.
