Lisbon, Portugal – October 28, 2024 – SAP has launched a series of innovative artificial intelligence solutions within its SuccessFactors HCM suite, all of which is a positive step in the evolution of HR technology. The announcement took place at the SuccessConnect event held in Lisbon, where AI features aimed to transform the management of people and their development were presented.
“Our announcements today represent a major leap toward a future where every organization has a single source of truth for its people data and skills intelligence,” stated Dan Beck, President and Chief Product Officer of SAP SuccessFactors solutions, highlighting the strategic importance of this release.
The latest offering has an improved talent management hub, which corresponds with the market gap identified by Gartner research indicating that 92% of companies do not have trustworthy data on the skills of their workforce. SAP’s offering is augmented by leading partners Beamery, Degreed, and Korn Ferry to establish a skills ecosystem.
“HR and people managers must deliver excellent, lasting, and personalized employee experiences,” emphasizes Zachary Chertok, Senior Research Manager for Employee Experience at IDC, commenting on the significance of these innovations.
The platform is characterized by revolutionary offerings like AI-enabled 360-degree performance appraisals or Joule the onboarding AI assistant. This system introduction is expected in early 2025 alongside a payroll management system, integrated WalkMe content, and other features that show SAP’s relentless pursuit to leverage AI in the enhancement of HR activities.
