SAO PAULO | MUMBAI, 30 October 2024—Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has entered into a ten-year collaboration with Brazil’s leading higher education institution, Insper. The $50 million will be directed towards enhancing technology-based solutions across the South American Region.
The partnership is geared towards the deployment of existing AI, generative AI, IoT, and spatial computing, among other technologies, to industrial problems in agriculture, energy, healthcare, and financial services.
The TCS Pace™ strategy allows clients in South America to receive unique AI insights. TCS and the Insper in Brazil Creators of the Pace model will conduct research and development of technologies which will include processes of seminars, hackathons, and workshops.

The joint goal is to further develop new AI solutions including: geo-sensing for precision agriculture, minimizing downtime in offshore oil platforms, and speeding up the process of drug creation which is in line with TCS’s objectives in the region to enhance business operational efficiency and competitive advantage.

TCS has been operational in Brazil for over 20 years, recently expanding with a delivery center in Londrina, Paraná, and aims to create 1,600 new jobs in five years.
