BEIJING, November 18, 2024 – As it marks its four decades in China, IBM joins many other companies in piloting into a new phase partly characterized by generative AI despite the disruptions in the global order due to geopolitical and economic struggles.

Arvind Krishna, the CEO of IBM has made the statement that

This comes with significant Financial outlay as such- AI and R&D- $7 Billion per annum- however the target remains the enterprise AI business leaders.
China, a key market for IBM, is seeing new possibilities in the business landscape as private companies’ adoption of AI enhances operational efficiency and opens up new global market prospects.
The organization has made further plans to focus on consultation and cloud services targeting the corporate sector in China.
